The architect who designed the gallery at Chenonceau is the one who actually designed the viaduct over the deep ditches of this castle, in 1560. In the 19th century, the buildings in the courtyard were all restored and they were soon to become the enchanting place we now see. The gourmet restaurant is located in three different dining rooms, all decorated with wood carvings from the 17th century. Tables are set with great refinement and elegance, all is simply graceful here. In the wintertime, by the fireplace, you can have a truly cosy moment here, the atmosphere is subdued. Of course as soon as the weather allows all guests choose the terrace, in order to truly enjoy the surroundings.
