Nestled close to the church of Saint-Eustache in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, Ô Château offers a big surprise to anybody inquisitive enough to push open the door.
This is more than just a wine bar: it's a fine wine bar – many references reign supreme between these walls, names of legends, foreign wines, excellent old vintages and rare cuvées... There are four separate spaces, all of them entirely given over to this little gem in the best French tradition, elegantly themed in noble materials: wood, marble, stone and leather. In the wine bar area, which is ideal for a romantic meal or dining with friends, or in the lounge, the perfect place for a pre-dinner cocktail, the atmosphere is warm and convivial. In the tasting room, where you can also enjoy dinner, and in the Vinothèque library, where bottles have replaced the books, wine is most decidedly the guest of honour. But these grands crus are not there to steal the show from the cuisine – au contraire. Food and wine blend perfectly to create subtle yet effective marriages. Depending on what's available at the market and other inspirations, the Chef puts together dishes to arouse your curiosity and captivate all your senses... Fine, inventive and delicious, the cuisine perfectly reflects the restaurant itself: modern and full of character.
